The X-ray tube high voltage generator is one of the core components of fluorescence spectrometer which provides high-accuracy high-voltage power supply to the X-ray tube and it is necessary to obtain high-precision analysis results. The generator includes multiple power converter (MPPC) and HT rectifiers (HT tank), which together produce a positive polarity high voltage (HT) and filament power supply current. Working principle and maintenance are described of PANalytical (formerly Philips) PW2440 fluorescence spectrometer high voltage generator.
