Rapid restoration system has lacked adequate technical support to low voltage fault location eversince. This paper designs and realizes a fault location technology analysis and rapid restorationsystem, based on data which are provided by grid model of information integration platform andfault information from distribution network automation system, and variable terminal real‐timeinformation. According to the user alarm information, fault information and terminal data, thissystem can automatically find out low‐voltage fault location, offer technical support to customerservice's first‐hand blackout range information, and also support effective guide to salvage crewsrestoring electricity. Research results set an example and are applied in Zhongshan power supplybureau, having a good effect.
