摘要:
The uncertainty about the future development of electric power supply systems has increased during the recent years all over the world. The power utilities are forced to interconnect their grids and to operate the existing production and transmission facilities closer to their limits. This calls for studies in which the access to realistic models of all established and future electrical equipment such as multiterminal HVDC systems, phasewise-controlled static var controllers (SVCs), superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) flexible ac transmission systems (FACTS), etc., is very essential. The available choice of numerical methods and the proper handling of events are equally well crucial for the accuracy and reliability of the analysis. This paper reports on a digital power system simulator that complies with these requirements.
