Research into the Planning of the Road-Directing System in Cities

摘要: 依照相关法规，应用实证研究方法，分析了城市交通指路系统存在的问题。提出了城市指路系统规划应遵循重全局、讲科学，重发展、讲连续，重实际、讲层次，重效果、讲规范性的基本原则。在规划设计中对信息选择应注重层次性、标志版面和信息量要适中、信息内容一致，图形简洁、清晰，信息含义明确。在指路标志设置上要点面结合、充分考虑易见性和易读性、坚持规范性和协调性。同时，要加强对交通指路设施的管理和交通情报信息板建设等，诣在提高城市路网的通行效率。

Abstract: Based on the related laws and regulations, the thesis carries out an empirical study into the problems existing in the road-directing systems in cities. And it points out that the basic principle should be complied with while planning the road-directing systems in cities—Emphasis should be put on the comprehensive situation, continuous development, practical use, and the actual effect and the planning should also be scientific, standardized and leveled out. When choosing the information, gradation is to be paid attention to, the arrangement of the traffic signs should be in accordance with the quantity of the information, the graphics should be concise and clear, and there should be no ambiguity in the meaning. Furthermore, while laying out the road-directing signs, the selected spots should be linked with the entire areas, visibility and readability should be taken into full consideration, and standardization and compatibility should be adhered to. Meanwhile, the management of the road-directing facilities and construction of the traffic information board ought to be strengthened to enhance the traffic flow efficiency of the urban road networks.
