摘要: 本文以1997年以来巴颜喀拉块体边界发生的7级强震为研究对象，分析了震中区中等以上地震活动特征，发现主震前震中区的地震活动主要表现为平静异常，主震后震中区的5级以上余震大都不活跃，ML ≥ 4.0级余震活动较活跃。其结果为今后该区域的7级以上地震预测可提供参考。
Abstract: In this paper, strong earthquakes with MS ≥ 7.0 occurred at the boundary of the block of Bayankala 1997 are taken as the research object, and the characteristics of seismic activity of above moderate earthquakes in epicentral area are analyzed. It was found that the seismic activity of earthquakes in epicentral area before the main earthquake was mainly calm abnormal, while the aftershocks with MS ≥ 5.0 in epicentral area after the main earthquake were mostly inactive, while those aftershocks with ML ≥ 4.0 were more active. The results can be used as a reference for the prediction of earthquakes with MS ≥ 7.0 in the future in the region.
