刘万红，武汉大学基础医学院免疫学系，博士，教授，博士生导师。中华医学会微生物与免疫学分会青年委员会委员、武汉市免疫学会第七届理事会常务理事、湖北省微生物与免疫学会委员、湖北省细胞学会理事、中国免疫学学会会员、中国细胞生物学学会会员、中国微生物学学会会员、国际期刊Infectious Disorders - Drug Targets等杂志编委。曾受邀担任National Science Review、BBA - Reviews on Cancer、Cancer letter、Cell Death & Disease、Nanoscale、Cellular Microbiology、Journal of Medical Virology等30多种国际期刊杂志审稿专家以及国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家。

研究领域

（1）研究人泡沫病毒（Human foamy virus, HFV）的感染及其作用机制，以及HFV载体的构建及其在神经系统疾病中的应用。

（2）研究肠道病毒71型（Human enterovirus 71, EV71）和柯萨奇病毒A16型（Coxsachievirus A16, CA16）等病毒的感染及其致病机制，特别是其导致手足口病患儿脑部神经系统疾病的作用机理；同时致力于EV71/ CA16病毒新型疫苗和免疫诊断的研发。
