天然产物化学,有机合成化学,化学生物学;生物活性天然产物的结构改造及其构效关系;生物缀合物的化学合成及其生物学功能;新型天然产物骨架功能分子的化学合成和性能。

科研项目和著作
研究概况作为课题负责人和主要工作者,先后参加承担完成国家自然科学基金“七.五”重大项目和“八.五”重点项目各1项,主持完成国家自然科学基金项目5项,博士点基金2项。
主编出版《有机合成化学与路线设计》(第2版),清华大学出版社,2007(2008年被评为北京市高等教育精品教材)。参与编写《磷与生命化学》(第8章),清华大学出版社,2005。《现代有机合成试剂》,化学工业出版社,2006。参与编写《现代有机合成反应》,第三卷,413-460,化学工业出版社,2008。在国内外重要学术刊物上发表研究论文120余篇(其中SCI收录100余篇)。
